AssureMOSS: Assurance and certification in secure Multi-party Open Software and Services

Research and Innovation Action funded by the EU under the H2020 framework. I'm the scientific leader and a workpackage leader. In collaboration with academic and industrial partnenrs we devise innovative techniques (also based on AI) to make modern software projects more secure. The focus is on open, multi-party software. In particular, I'm working on reconstructing lightweigh models from code (e.g., micro-services) and to use such models for security analysis.

CASUS: Building Security Assurance Cases in Automotive Open Systems

Research project funded by VINNOVA, in Sweden. I was the project coordinator. In collaboration with AB Volvo and Volvo Cars, we defined methods and techniques to create and maintain security assurance cases for the automotive industry. Compliance with the ISO 21434 standard was also a priority.

CyReV: Cyber Resilience for Vehicles

Apr 2019 – Aug 2021

Research project funded by VINNOVA, in Sweden. I was a work package leader. In collaboration with several automotive companies in the Gothenburg area, we studied techniques to make road vehicles more robust in the face of cyber attacks. Our focus was on monitoring software execution and run-time reconfiguration.
